Open Positions

Vice President

  • Preside over WIC meetings and events in the absence of the WIC President
  • Work with committee chairs to develop a schedule of events and create and review events
  • Represent WIC at university, school, community, and corporate meetings and events

External Relations

  • Form and create communication to be disseminated to student body, staff, faculty, alumni relations, corporate and community entities
  • Work with companies and other organizations to foster relationships

Event Logistics

  • Plan, coordinate, and execute programs and events for the organization
  • Create creative content and materials for the events

Social Media and Marketing

  • Advertise, promote, and connect with the WIC community via diverse social media and marketing platforms
  • Use innovative social media and marketing techniques

Web Development

  • Develop and update the WIC website ensuring all content is informative, inviting, and current

Graphic Design

  • Create cross-platform media to spread awareness for WIC and our events
  • Create innovative marketing materials and designs
  • Must be knowledgeable and/or willing to learn graphic design

Male Ally

  • Advocate for WIC and initiatives in technology to broaden participation of women
  • Plan a monthly Male ALly event to provide awareness about the need for more women in tech as well as more male allies
